DeepStack Open Cannes 2011

DATES:
Satellites start March 22, 2011, and will run unto April 18, 2011. The first Super Satellite will be held on March 28, 2011. Super Satellites will be staged on Monday nights at 21:30, Buy-In is €50+€5, R/A.

PRIORITY:
This is a land-based event that will be staged at the Casino Cannes Croisette in France, from April 28th to May 1st, 2011. The series replaces the DeepStack Open Costa Brava series, and satellites run in parallel to the Austrian Deepstack Poker Championship series.

TRANSLATION ISSUES:
Poker players know what “deepstack” means and the name of the event should not be translated. However, in texts, “deepstack” can be explained as tournaments with huge starting stacks (50,000 chips).

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
The iPoker Network is staging an online satellite series awarding winning players with €1,150 Winner’s Packages to the DeepStack Open Cannes 2011, which will be staged at the Casino Cannes Croisette in France, from April 28th to May 1st, 2011.

The Winner’s Package includes the €500+50 Buy In to the Main Event (All players will be registered to day 1B, April 29th); €400 for 4 nights’ accommodation at the Gray d'Albion Hotel, April 28 – May 2, 2011; €15 Handling Fees; and €185 for flights and spending.

The DeepStack Open Cannes 2011 tournament is the next deepstack event in a series organized each year by ChiliPoker. These land-based tournaments were very popular in 2010. This year’s schedule includes events in Malta, Vienna, Marrakesh, Cannes and Paris.

This tournament series is not the same as the Deepstack Poker Championship series and please note that the official spelling in the name here is “DeepStack”.
